This multi-disciplinary group, born in october 2003, has been meeting every month to exchange and develop
activities in the field of mixed effect models. It involves scientists with varied background, interesed both in the study and
applications of these models:
- academic statisticians from Universities Paris 5, 11 and 13 (theoretical and methodological developments)
- researchers from INSERM-P7 (applications in pharmacology)
- researchers from INRA (applications in agronomy, animal genetics and microbiology)
- researchers from the faculty of Lyon-Sud University (applications in oncology)
These collaborations have already translated in two co-chaired PhDs (INSERM/University and INRA/University), several papers,
organisation of special sessions in two congresses (SMAI 2005, SFdS 2005) and participation in several conferences (Lyon 2004,
INRA 2005, PAGE 2004, PAGE 2005, PAGE 2006, PAGANZ 2007). An important activity of the group is the development of the
MONOLIX software.
The MONOLIX project has received support from:
- ANR (Agence National de la Recherche) to hire two postdoc and reinforce the activities of the group,
- INRIA (Institut National de la Recherche en Informatique et Automatique) to hire a development engineer for
the MONOLIX software,
- Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development to hire a postdoc and develop new algorithms
for MONOLIX
This group is chaired by
